Sandy Boyle, LPC

Senior Vice President of Clinical Infrastructure

What is your role and primary responsibility within the organization?

As Senior Vice President of Clinical Infrastructure and Compliance Officer, I oversee departments which support Trillium’s clinical work – Access, Health Information Management and Quality Improvement. I also supervise our Family Partnership Coordinator, Resilience Consultant, and our On-Call Clinical Licensure Supervisors.

What is a passion or hobby outside of work that brings you joy?

Several years ago, I learned how exercise and working out help our minds and bodies heal. Therefore, I became a certified group exercise instructor in hope of helping others. I love the country and a few years ago my husband, dogs and I moved to some land where we spend our time gardening and relaxing in nature.

What motivated you to pursue a career in mental health?

My junior high school counselor supported me when I was having a rough time as a teen and feeling alone. Ever since then I’ve wanted to work in a similar role supporting kids and families. I started at Trillium more than twenty-five years ago as an outpatient therapist, and over the years have had the opportunity to oversee all of our clinical programs in Corvallis and Portland. I feel so lucky to work with such amazing people doing incredible work each day!
