INTERNSHIPS
Thank you for your interest in completing an internship with Trillium Family Services. Please direct questions to Elizabeth McMahan, LCSW (Training and Safety Director) at emcmahan@trilliumfamily.org
Clinical Internships:
Our internship program offers an immersive clinical experience in working with children, adolescents and families. In this role, interns learn how to engage with clients, conduct individual and family therapy, facilitate group therapy, conduct and document clinical assessments, create treatment plans and evaluate treatment progress, support in discharge planning, and the basics of case management.
We accept students from MA, MSW, and MCFT degree programs for our Outpatient, Partial Hospitalization and Residential Programs throughout the state. We do accept intern applications throughout the year, though do not always have openings available. If you are interested, please go to our Careers page and apply to the “Graduate Clinical Internship” posting.
Bachelor Degree Internships:
Bachelor level students from BSW, psychology, and other human services programs. Please contact Elizabeth McMahan, LCSW (Training and Safety Director) at emcmahan@trilliumfamily.org for more information.
Administrative Internships:
We accept applications year-round for internships in our administrative departments. Please contact Elizabeth McMahan, LCSW (Training and Safety Director) at emcmahan@trilliumfamily.org for more information on available positions.
Additional Information:
Interns must successfully pass a background check, receive positive references, and be tested for TB exposure (post acceptance), similar to our employees.
