Mental Health Impact Award: Cameron Brink

The Mental Health Impact Award celebrates outstanding individuals who are making a difference in the world of mental health and for Trillium Family Services.

Cameron Brink is a professional WNBA basketball player for the Los Angeles Sparks and Stanford alumna, know not just for her talent and leadership on the court, but for the heart she brings to everything she does. She grew up in Beaverton, Oregon, where she helped lead Southridge High School to two Class 6A championships and earned Oregon Gatorade Player of the Year honors. For her senior year, she transferred to Mountainside High to prioritize her mental health—something she’s been open about ever since. Cameron has become a passionate advocate for mental well-being, sharing her experiences with anxiety and the importance of therapy. Her parents, Michelle Bain-Brink and Greg Brink—both former college athletes—have always been her biggest supporters. They’ve championed open, honest conversations about mental health with their family, and their steady support has empowered Cameron to use her voice to raise awareness. Together, the Brink family is helping break the stigma and encouraging other to prioritize emotional well-being in sports and everyday life.
