Trillium Leadership

What is your role and primary responsibility within the organization?

I am VP of operations for the community programs in the Portland Metro region and in The Dalles.  My career at Trillium Family Services began in 1999. I make sure that all our Outpatient, intensive Outpatient (including in-home services) and Day Treatment/Partial Hospitalization programs are providing the best care possible to our clients and their families.

Trillium is privileged to have relationships with about 90 schools in the Portland Metro Region, who partner with us to host therapists to help their students with any emotional or behavioral needs. Trillium also has a long history of providing services to families in their homes when traditional Outpatient care isn’t sufficient.  I was the original therapist for this program back in 2007.  Lastly, Trillium has Day Treatment/Partial Hospitalization programs in SE Portland and in The Dalles.  These programs provide intensive treatment to children and youth weekdays, and include a school component.

What is a passion or hobby outside of work that brings you joy?

Watching my children grow up (they keep me very busy with too many activities) A really good cup of coffee (just black, please) Summers in the Northwest (I can read a book in a hammock for hours)

What motivated you to pursue a career in mental health?

The work and mission of Trillium Family Services – I started with Trillium when I was still young and a bit lost on what I wanted to do with my life.  When I stepped one foot on our campus, I immediately found my calling.
