Schools
and Community Programs
School-Based Services bring Trillium’s outpatient
and community-based programs into local schools, where they
are more accessible to children and families. The programs
themselves run the gamut, from screening services in cooperation
with after-school programs in the David Douglas School District
to outpatient therapy offered to kids attending the Centennial
Alternative Learning Center in the Centennial School District.
Trillium also has partnerships with the Monroe School District,
Philomath School District, and the Corvallis School District
in the Mid-Willamette Valley.
Reaching out to local schools reflects Trillium’s
philosophies of delivering mental health care where it is
easiest, and most comfortable, for children and families
to access. We know that the more accessible services are,
the more successful children and families are in therapy.
Trillium works in partnership with community school districts
in tailoring services to meet the needs of students and families.
Programs often are funded through special grants, and programs
may change from year to year depending on their funding source.
Contact your local school district if you have questions
about whether Trillium’s services or other mental health
care services are available in your school. |
