The Old School Restoration

Final Phase: The five-year restoration of the historic Old School is heading down the home stretch toward completion.

Upper Level: Community Hub
When completed, the Old School will re-awaken as a vibrant resource serving the surrounding communities. The public will be welcome to use the conference and meeting rooms, dine in the cafe, or browse the historic archives that date back to the Children's Farm Home's beginnings in 1922.

Lower Level: Resource for Children and Families
Downstairs, the Old School will provide a critically-needed healing environment for children and families receiving mental health treatment at the Children's Farm Home. Spaces on this level include a bright, warm intake area to welcome children arriving for treatment; comfortable day rooms where families can visit their children; and a recreation area for kids to enjoy.
