Building Brighter Futures with Children and Families
Our Mission
Like every other organization, Trillium Family Services has a mission statement that drives everything we do. In the past, that statement was a long, winding sentence full of jargon.
So, we simplified our mission statement. Rather than 30-plus words, we captured our mission in only seven:
Building Brighter Futures With Children and Families.
 This simple statement means so much to us as an agency and as individual staff members. In our rapidly changing field where new therapies and best-practices are constantly being evaluated and adopted, we realized that we couldn't succeed in helping children and families without their active participation.
We know that children are best served as close to home as possible and that, to be effective, therapists must work directly with children, their families and other important figures in children's lives to form an integrated treatment plan.
Our therapists know that we can't provide treatment to children in isolation. Instead, we offer therapy in partnership with families and communities, producing more positive results.
